First we decided to go to Koh Chang and after I search all the information about Koh Chang I found out Koh Mak is interesting and Koh Kham was an amazing surprised.

So…what are we waiting for?

I decided to go there by plane to Trat province and Bangkok Airways is the only airline that have a flight to Trat. The most I love when I fly with Bangkok Airways is their boutique departure lounge where I really enjoyed the snack (Thai & European) with the drinks and wifi between my waiting. But one thing was surprised me is the plane, it’s a propeller aircraft. However I really enjoy the meal on the flight and love the view.

After landing at Trat airport. There’s a limousine waiting for us. (I booked a limousine in advance from Trat Airport to Laem Ngop piers via : kohchangminibus.com  which is good service)

When I arrived Laem Ngop piers I bought a ticket for speed boat to Koh Mak there. (check the time table first at : kohmakboat.com)

The resort I booked for at Koh mak called “Plub pla Koh Mak Retreat” I booked this resort because of the picture of the pool and it hasn’t disappointed me. The pool area and the center area is great. The accommodation is fine villa.

The picture below is where we had a breakfast, feel like a front row seat on the beach. Just one disadvantage is the rock on the beach which is along the resort. By the way the overview of this resort is fine.

We love to go around, sightseeing all day so we rent a scooter per day. For dinner we love to go out to other resort to explore and I love to see the real place of the resort I cut off when I booked online. So let’s see…

Seavana Koh Mak Beach Resort

Yes..it’s exactly like you see, the beach there is superb. I had an amazing dinner there. Unfortunately this resort was fully booked at the time I’d been there.

The Cinnamon Art Resort and Spa

Before I picked Plubpla resort I hesitate about this resort and Plubpla resort because of  one reason, Cinnamon resort is a legend of Koh Mak from their wooden bridge estending into the sea. I saw the beautiful picture on the bridge at sunset everywhere on the website. However after I read a review on Booking.com I decided to go to Cinnamon resort at the sunset and just take the picture. And I’ve to tell you that I’ve made a very best decision. This resort is perfect just for taking a picture at the sunset.

And the last one is Islanda Resort Hotel

This is the best view of the resort. This resort has no beach but the mountain view is nice. By the way the accommodation is the building not a villa and the pool zone is not private.
